The long awaited post (probably not) of my bangkok trip is finally up . So my family decided to spend the june holidays in bangkok , 6 days of the june holidays to be exact . And I'm finally going to do up a blog post for it -claps- it's probably going to be a long ass blog post but I hope not ㅋ Let's begin shall we ?
So we all woke up at around 6am if I didn't remember wrongly and I had only like 3 hours of sleep OTL , yes panda eyes :-)

See you soon bangkok
Landed ~
The hotel we stayed in was Armari Watergate Bangkok ~ and I can proudly say that the hotel is the best one I ever stayed in :) The vice - president of the hotel whom my mum was friends with upgraded us to the executive suite (?) for a discounted price which means we get to go up to the 32nd floor for tea time (?) plus our room was on the 31st floor and the view is just ㅠㅠ Since it was an executive suite we were told to go up to the 32nd floor to check in. While my parents were busy with the check in, the vp came up personally and gave us the flower garland , the staff there also served us drinks and desserts.
A few pictures of the room :
31st floor view
What's bangkok without walking around and shopping right? after unpacking, we decided to head out and shop since it was already 1pm so we walked around the nearby to get a few stuffs and lunch
omelet with rice , the only thing i ate every single day
On our back to the hotel, I saw this street shop selling leather cuffs ... and you know I have a obsession with cuffs no ? well now you know. but I didn't buy any because if I did , my parents would probably ask me the typical 101 questions ....Starbucks before heading back to rest
Mocha Cookie Crumble
For all coffee lovers , mocha cookie crumble is a must drink if you visit starbucks . After resting for a few hours, we all headed up to the 32nd Floor for tea time [ they serve wine & beer there too ]
dessert
View from the 32nd floor :
Day 2 and 4 were the best to be honest because we had Din Tai Fung on both days :-) and their xiao long baos are the best p.s now I know why SHINee likes xiao long bao so much.
their xiao long bao mascot is cute please
saw this while waiting for our number to be called . looks like running man XD
pork cutlet fried rice
shrimp dumplings
xiao long baos
Din Tai Fung in bangkok is thailand is cheaper than Din Tai Fung in singapore . not way cheaper but cheaper by a few dollars I guess ... and they only have 1 Din Tai Fung in Thailand which is in Bangkok ; Central World. To be honest if you're planning to shop for cheap stuffs in bangkok then don't step into the shopping mall unless its the june holidays because they're having sales :> which they were having when I went .. so we did shop at the malls but most of the items were bought at the morning/night markets .
crepe ?
I personally have eaten a crepe in singapore so the one I ate in bangkok was probably the best and it cost like SGD4 which consisted of nutella as spread , sliced bananas , cheese and chocolate sauce topping (( for a fnn student , i am damn unhealthy please )) after buying the crepes , we headed back to the hotel room and then up to the 32nd Floor for tea time
Pretty much sums up day 2 ~ moving on , day 3 ...
4 face buddha
Siam Ocean World
We actually did not plan to visit Siam Ocean World but because my mum wanted to buy her Chanel bag , we walked from the 4 face buddha to Siam Paragon . and it was a wasted trip because the Chanel bag she wanted to purchase was way more expensive then the one in singapore by around SGD1000 so we just walked around and then saw Siam Ocean World, thinking that it would cheap but no :-) it was bloody expensive so oh well ...
While walking back to the hotel we bought coffee / iced chocolate from this street stall and it's like SGD1 for 1 cup plus the coffee got starbucks standard cx just that it has no whipping cream / chocolate chips
Lunch
day 3 ; tea time
After tea , we walked around the night market shopping for clothes and what not . since it rained earlier on the floor was still wet and after shopping there , my leg looked like a canvas okay :-( there were like black water spots everyone at the back of my legs ...
dinner
p.s if you're looking for cheap & delicious street foods , these are some of the stalls you might wanna visit
(( they're located at the night market behind baiyoke sky hotel ))

Didn't do much on day 5 , alot of packing up ... the amount of stuffs we bought is really ... 2 luggage full OTL if you have seen my instagram , you'll know that day 5 was really really lazy ㅠㅠ we just shopped at the super big mall opposite the hotel we're staying at for a few hours before heading back to the hotel and then to the 32nd floor for tea again :>
last tea time in bangkok
Day 6 ; Home Sweet Home
Just some of the night views from the 32nd floor of the hotel
Pretty much sums up the entire bangkok trip we .. I mean I did quite alot of shopping , ate alot but didn't gain much weight because I walked alot too . if you want to see more photos , check out my instagram @hyunception ~ and my parents are planning to bring us to taiwan / hongkong / bangkok during the year end holidays but nothing is confirmed yet so ...
