Anyways!!!!

Sem 1 has been a great experience.
For this post, I'll be sharing more about my
Semester 1 experience.

Not sure if it's gonna be interesting...
But, if you're curious, then you know what to do!

Time really flew. Just like that, semester 1/Year 1.1 has ended. I honestly did not find it too tough or tiring probably because I'm used to this kind of things/routine by now. The whole poly thing is similar to what I experienced in ITE. But without the lecturer forcing students to come for consultations.

I actually preferred poly assignments? Assignments, when I was in ITE, assignments consists of many hands-on projects where we have to create play-kits, learning corners within a period of time and the worst part is, the lecturer would have to approve of our idea before we can start on making anything.

In poly, for my course now, assignments are more of doing research, typing out papers instead of whatever practical work I did in ITE and I prefer that actually. I really hate doing practical work because I am bad at it. :)))))) Yes, poly assignments require me to search for books and conduct proper research (meaning, finding reliable sources) and I enjoy it.

Enough about assignments.

Imma talk about the people I met in poly. Basically my classmates and friends. I made friends with really nice, non-pretentious people and my classmates are rather friendly to me (compared to those in ITE). So I really appreciate that part.

Though... there are still 1 or 2 who are pretentious. There are 2 people I know, in my class who are absolutely fake. :> One of them only started talking to me after she found out that I have a driving license. The other treated me like I'm invisible and only spoke to me when it benefitted her. :>

Fake ass people.

I had enough of hating people and gossiping about them so... whatever. They leave me alone, I'll do the same.

So, exams ended less than 2 weeks ago and I'm stuck at home with a 2 months break till October. What am I planning to do?

I HAVE NO IDEA EITHER

Currently, I'm waiting for 31st August because I'm going overseas, to my favourite city! And then after that, I'm stuck at home again because the photoshoot my friends and I planned, will never happen. It's really hard to plan group activities for a large group. If it was a small group with 2/3 people in it, planning and organizing these kinds of things would be easier but with 7/8 people, you can forget about hanging out together during the holidays because everyone is so damn busy with their own schedules.

I told this to one of my friends and she said that I was just "bad" at planning these kinds of things. Well okay, since I'm "bad" at it, I told her to plan it instead.

LET'S SEE WHETHER THE PHOTOSHOOT ACTUALLY HAPPENS BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS.

Just so you know, no WhatsApp group has been created for this yet. Neither does everyone know we're planning this. :))))))))))

But, we shall see.

Anyways, I have been getting hooked on Thai BL (boy love) drama ever since the holidays started. Its actually pretty interesting to watch, unlike the typical boy-girl drama where we all know the plot and how the 2 actually falls in love.

/cues eye rolls/

Some BL drama has similar plots to that but there are a few with rather interesting plots.
My favourites that I highly recommend:
  1. Love By Chance (currently airing)
  2. Together With Me (Ended; Season 2 is coming!!!)
  3. 2 Moons the series (Ended; Season 2 is coming as well !!!)
Of course, there are a few which I watched that didn't catch my eye/I felt like, wasted my time:
  1. What The Duck (Too draggy; I only watched for the side/ other couple)
  2. SOTUS (Pretty boring to me)
  3. Kiss Me Again (I have no idea what was going on)

To me, episode 1 is very important in determining my interest in the drama and whether I will continue watching or not. Of course, the actors also play apart in this. The actors playing as the "main couple" in What The Duck wasn't very handsome so I kinda lost interest halfway and was only watching for the other/side couple. Also, the drama was really draggy, even til the end.

Sadly, I'm running out of BL dramas to watch and if anyone has any suggestions on what is nice, please @ me on Twitter/Instagram. Also, only suggest thai BLs, please. I don't really enjoy watching others since I'm used to the actors already.

I guess this is how I am going to spend my holidays.

And for the first time, I don't wanna go out to the town area for shopping because I'm trying to save money for my year end trip which is approaching in less than 5 months time. #yayforme

Alright, I guess this is all for now.

I have to turn in early tonight because I'm going for breakfast with grandma tomorrow. It's been a long time since I met her and oh my god, I miss her :<

The next post will probably be up next Friday evening and then I'll have a review post up when I come back from my trip since I'm staying in a different hotel this time around!
