#77 | Thai Boy Love (BL) Review/Recommendations

I'm back with a new post!

Countdown to the next vacay:

67 days (as of this post)

For this post, I want to share about the Thai Boys Love (BL)
series/dramas I've watched during my break and review them.

*Warning: This post contains images/texts that some may find offensive.
If you are uncomfortable/ offended by gay couple/love, please do not continue reading this.

Before I officially start reviewing the series I've watched, I'll answer some commonly asked questions that I've seen previously.

1. So what is BL?
- 'BL' is a term used to describe 'Boys Love'. Basically, 2 males falling in love with each other, kissing, making out, having sex etc.

2. Are there only Thai BL series?
- Nope. I've seen BL series from other countries such as Taiwan, Korea, and Japan. Thai BL series seem to be more popular and most BL series I watch/found are from Thailand.

3. Is it hard to watch/find the series with English subtitles?
- Most series listed in this post can be found on Youtube/Line TV with English subtitles. However, for some, you'll have to find them on Dailymotion.
*(I will tell y'all where you can watch each series!)

4. Will I be grossed out or feel uncomfortable when I watch these kinds of shows?
- Like I mentioned in the beginning if you are uncomfortable with gay love/couple, you shouldn't be reading this post at all.

5. Are there only gay couples in BL series?
- It honestly depends on the plot these series revolve around. Most BL series in this list only show gay couples. However, some of the series have straight couples as well.

- e n d of q n a -

I only found out about BL series early this year. I remember I was scrolling through Instagram and saw a person I'm following, liked a video of 2 males kissing (as part of the series). And, I noticed that I was following one of the actors on Instagram. I didn't know what got into me but the next thing I knew, I was watching that series on Dailymotion. #fml.

After I finished watching that series, I stopped for a few months due to my busy schedules + I couldn't be bothered to go find anymore. I only began looking for other series in late August this year after my exams since that was also the start of my holidays + I didn't have anything else to watch.

I went back on Instagram and searched for "#ThaiBLseries". There were so many short clips from different series so I randomly clicked on one of them. The rest is history :))))) So here I am, 1.5 months later, after watching 12 Thai BL series. #loser.

- D I S C L A I M E R -

- Everything is written under 'Personal Review' is strictly based on MY personal opinion.
- Some may agree with me and some might disagree. I respect everyone's opinion so please respect mine as well.
- The term 'Sex Scene' and 'Love Scene' I use, refers to scenes where the actors topless and making out roughly, on the bed OR pinned against the surface making out OR having sex. Nothing in this list is rated R21 so don't overthink when you see the words 'Sex Scene' or 'Love Scene'.
- 'Any straight couple/s' refers to whether the series has or showcases any straight couple pairing
- There will be smol spoilers in 'Personal Review' so if you don't like spoilers, you probably shouldn't continue reading this.
- The cast list in this post includes actors and actress you will see most often in the series. It is not finite.

1. I Am Your King
About this series:
This is the story of how a game changed the friendship of 6 friends.

Days before Pound/Pond leaves for his studies in China, his friends all gathered for a farewell celebration. During the celebration, they get drunk and play the King game; a simple game with one rule -> whoever gets the 'King' card, can order anyone to do whatever he wants.

What's going to happen when Pound/Pond gets the 'King' card?

Where to watch?
- Dailymotion! I can't find it on Youtube (probably because it got removed due to copyright issues)
Rating & Episodes:
- 13+ | 5 episodes (25 minutes each)
Casts:
- Newyear Kitiwhut Sawutdimilin (Pound/Pond)
- M Phurin Ruangvivatjarus (Junho)
- Us Nititorn Akkarachotsopon (Matt)
- Kris Songsamphant (New)
- Best Vittawin Veeravidhayanant (Bright)
- Mark Siwat Jumlongkul (August)
Any straight couples?:
- Nope.

Personal Review:
I Am Your King is the first ever BL series I watched. I felt that this series was too rushed and messy because there were too many pairings and too little episodes. Plus, each of the pairing's storyline didn't have enough time to develop. It would have been better if there were more episodes for this series.

The good thing about this series was that the actors are all pretty good looking #heh Furthermore, Newyear (Pound/Pond) is gay in real life. I know that most actors in BL series are straight so it was nice to see a real gay man acting in this series.

I would recommend this series to people who enjoy reading yaoi fanfiction. Watching this was like watching a beginner's fanfiction come to life. There was definitely room for improvement. Despite the rushed storyline, it's actually quite entertaining to watch.

2. Love By Chance (Currently Airing)
- Every Friday

 About this series:
This is the story of how 2 strangers, fall in love, by chance.

Pete is a handsome, rich yet timid university student. His shyness is caused by the fact that he is secretly gay and is hiding it. Whenever he trusts someone, they use him for his money. By chance, Pete gets knocked down by a boy riding a bike on campus. The boy, named Ae apologizes and helps him up. While he was getting blackmailed by someone, Ae saves him.

Over time, Ae protects Pete from any harm. As time passes, Ae starts to feel something for Pete. However, Pete doesn't want Ae to be ridiculed like how he was, for being gay. Hence, Pete ignored the feelings he had for Ae. But he finds himself falling deeper in love with the boy who knocked him down.

Personal Review:
*Disclaimer: Whatever is written below, is based on Ep 1 - Ep 9.
I LOVE this series. The cinematography, editor, director and everyone on set did a great job with the series. It wasn't too rushed. In fact, it took several episodes before Tin and Can kiss & for Pete and Ae to get together. I have no idea whether Tin x Can became a couple officially by the end of this season/series but I'm really hoping it happens if not, I hope it happens in season 2 (if season 2 ever comes)

I felt that the love scene between Ae and Pete was acted out really well by the 2 actors. It wasn't rough/explicit like Korn x Knock / Pree x Rambo and that's because the 2 of them are rather new to this thing, especially Ae. Pete is his first boyfriend and he doesn't want Pete to feel pain or hurt in any way which explains why the love scene was gentle and soft.

Another thing that was good, how well the actors can act and their looks. 10/10 for both categories (acting & looks) especially Tin/Mean (lookswise) #heh. The story line of this series is good as well, very cute and fluffy.

One thing I felt could be improved was the screen time of other casts. I know this series focuses more on Ae x Pete & Tin x Can but it wouldn't hurt for Tum and Tar to have more screen time... If season 2 really happens, I hope it can focus more on Tum x Tar. If not, I hope we can get a series showcasing what happened to Tar in the past (I'm very curious!!!) & focus on this pairing.

I can't say much more about this series because it is not completed yet. Despite thatI highly recommend everyone to watch this series and I can't wait to see what happens in the remaining episodes. Hands down, one of the best BL series I've watched.

3. SOTUS

About this series:
The 'Gear' is one of the engineering mechanical devices in the cogwheel system. Having one means that the person is a student of the Faculty of Engineering. However, getting it isn't an easy task. Before freshmen can get their 'Gear', they must go through the SOTUS (acronym for Seniority, Order, Tradition, Unity, and Spirit) system.

Arthit, one of the head hazers, often abuses his power over freshmen by making them do things against the rules. Freshmen are literally unable to complain or resist the orders given. This seemed to go on until Kongpob stood up against Arthit. Continual encounters between the Arthit and Kongpob lead to something more affectionate.

Personal Review:
In the first place, I didn't like this series so I stopped watching it and went on to watch other series. Weeks later, I decided to watch this series again because I was out of BL series to watch. I did not regret my decision but there was definitely room for improvement.

Firstly, I couldn't feel/see the chemistry between Kongpob x Arthit (just a personal opinion). Also, I saw several comments online talking about how the plot could be improved. Initially, I had the same thought too since there weren't many couple scenes as they only got together in the last few episodes.

But after watching  SOTUS S,  I thought that the plot of SOTUS and how it progressed was great. It wasn't too rushed. Plus, in SOTUS S, there were more couple scenes and a special scene at the end of each episode. It was as though they were trying to compensate for the lack of couple scenes in SOTUS by doing that and having the special scenes and that to me was a good move.

Overall, SOTUS is a series with a good plot and storyline. It wasn't too rushed like 'I Am Your King' Honestly speaking, I really love this series and will rewatch it again when I have the time too. Also, for SOTUS, there was also very little kiss scene and the kiss scenes only appeared in the last few episodes. No sex or making out scenes either. Recommend this series to people who are just starting to watch BL series.

4. My Bromance
About this series:
Golf and Bank are stepbrothers. Their homophobic father/stepfather sent Golf to the USA to study after finding out about the love relationship the 2 boys have for each other. 8 years later, Bank and Golf returns home from their respective trips.

Unknown to Golf, Bank is attached to his overseas boyfriend (Jackson) of 2 years. Who will Bank choose? Golf, a lover/brother for more than 8 years or his soon to be husband of 2 years?

Rating & Episodes:

Casts:
- Chaiya Jirapirom (Bank)
- Na Songkhla Patpasit (Golf)
Any straight couples?:
- Nope.

Personal Review:
I only found out about this series after surfing the net for popular BL series. It was very confusing for me because it kept going back and forth between the past and present. So I kept thinking Golf hate Bank even though they were showing the present scene.

I also skipped several scenes because it was too boring. This series talked a lot about the past, the childhood of Bank and Golf. I would like it if they focused more on the present instead. The ending wasn't too good either. It was a happy ending but they left too many things unanswered. I'm hoping for a season 2 to come out soon because I need answers to those unanswered questions!!!

Overall, not too bad. But it can be confusing to some, reason as mentioned above. There was 1 short sex scene + making out scene at the end and a few kissing scenes here and there. I was reading online reviews and many said that you should watch the series before watching the movie. Or, wait a while after watching the movie before watching the series. So yeah, something to take note if you are interested to watch this.

5. Make It Right: The Series
About this series:
Fuse is a gentle and sensitive boy who is heartbroken because of his girlfriend who cheated. He tries to get over her by drinking with his friends. However, he meets his friend, Tee and ends up sleeping (they had sex) with him that night.

How is Fuse going to cope with his new feelings for another boy and how many other boys are struggling with these similar feelings in his school?

- Ratanaumnuayshai Boonyakorn (Rodtang)
- Aof Sutiwas Wongsamran (Yok)
- Nice Vichapol Somkid (Lukmo)
Any straight couples?:
- Yes. 1. (Fuse x His girlfriend)

Personal Review:
To be honest, I only watched this series to see what would happen to Book and Frame. The other pairings were pretty 'meh' This series could make do with lesser pairings. They should have made Fuse break up with his girlfriend the moment he confirmed that she was cheating and then focus on making Fuse and Tee a couple. But nope. The break up happened much later.

There were 1/2 sex scenes involving Book and Frame. A few kiss scenes involving Fuse x Tee and Book x Frame (if I didn't remember wrongly). Overall, not too bad. I would recommend this to someone who is starting to explore the BL world.

p.s. one of the directors that were involved in this, is also involved in making/directing Love By Chance :>

6. Together With Me

About this series:
This story focuses on Korn and Knock.
How they met, how they got together and all the obstacles they had to go through, to be together.

Where to watch?
- Youtube! Together With Me
Rating & Episodes:
- 18+ | 13 episodes (50 minutes each)
Casts:

- Tul Pakorn Thanasrivanitchai (Knock)
- Maengmum Pimnitchakun Bumrungkit (Yihwa)
- Tantimaporn Supawit (Farm)
- Aim Satida Pinsinchai (Plern Pleng)
- Tem Khamphee Noomnoi (Phubet)
- Olive Chiwpreecha Thitichaya (Fai)
- Apiwat Porsche Apiwatsayree (Bright)
Any straight couples?:
- Yes. 2. (Knock x Plern Pleng & Phubet x his teacher)

Personal Review:
The chemistry between Korn and Knock was really good. Watching this was like being on a roller coaster ride, an emotional roller coaster ride. One moment, you could be laughing and smiling, the next thing you know, tears are flowing out of your eyes and you're crying.

Many people are upset at how Knock handled the issues he was facing based on the online reviews I've read. However, I thought that it was good since it adds angst to the story. I'm sure I'm not the only one who is frustrated and annoyed at Knock's girlfriend - Plern Pleng. It was so satisfying to watch how Knock found out about the mean things she did to Korn. Their breakup scene was even more satisfying, trust me.

Another character I like is Yihwa. She is so charismatic and I really love how she puts in the effort to help Korn and Knock get together & how she dealt with Plern Pleng at the end. #yasssss.

I know some people have issues with Bright x Farm pairing (Bright is a playboy and Farm looks innocent af) and how their story went.  Honestly, it was uncomfortable for me at first but that uncomfortable feeling went away as I continued watching + they don't have many scenes so it was okay. Also, in the end, Bright regretted what he did and missed having Farm with him + the times they shared together.

I wouldn't recommend this series to someone who is starting to watch BL series and might be uncomfortable with 2 males having sex/making out roughly(?) because, in the first episode, Korn and Knock were already making out and had sex with each other after getting drunk. There were also several scenes where they made out quite roughly & heavily with each other so if you are new to this whole BL thingy, please do not watch this first! I suggest you watch other series before watching this.

Overall, this was a good series. Korn and Knock have raised the standards of the kiss scenes in the BL world up high. I haven't seen any other series that has got this standard when it comes to the kiss scenes. Also, the OSTs for this series are really, really good! It was also played at the right moment during each episode. I guess this was why I cried when watching certain scenes.

Any straight couples?:
- Yes. 3. (Fah x Pan, Min x Wan & Waii x his girlfriend)

Personal Review:
A really 'meh' series. Don't expect to see too much BL scenes or cuts from this series. The scenes of two main characters (Waii x Apo) were limited. I'm sure many people would agree with me on this point as well. They are the main characters! They deserve more screen time than the straight couples.

Plot and storyline aren't the best. It revolves around how the 2 main characters got together, but focused too much on the straight couples. (This is a BL series for god's sake), the obstacles Waii had to face and go through. And when the 2 finally got together officially, that's where the series end. You don't get to the 2 main characters together as an official couple at all. Sure there was a handful of kiss + sex scenes but that was all before the 2 was an official couple.

I wouldn't recommend this to people who are interested in watching BL. This series lacks BL scenes and cuts. It focused too much on the other couples. Would have been better if they had lesser pairings and gave more screen time to the 2 mains. This series is suitable for people who are just starting out on their BL journey + wanna watch straight couples at the same time. If you've enjoyed 'I Am Your King', 'Together With Me', 'My Bromance', '2Moons' etc, you probably won't enjoy this one. (Just a personal opinion). But you can still give it a go.

8. SOTUS S

Personal Review:
Before I begin, can someone please tell me where I can find a boyfriend who will love and care for me like Kongpob with Arthit? The way he loves Arthit is just uwu. You can see that his love for Arthit is unconditional. T_T #wherecanIfindone?

Anyways, I feel that the Arthit and Kongpob in this series had more chemistry than in SOTUS. If you came here thinking that you'll see the head hazer Arthit you saw in SOTUS, you are wrong. In this series, Arthit has graduated and is in the working world, which means, he is no longer in school. The first episode showcases a different personality of his compared to what was shown in SOTUS as the head hazer.

I can see that his relationship with Kongpob hasn't changed much. I expected more kiss scenes by now since it has been 3+ years since they got together but, nope. Arthit is still too shy/fearful to kiss Kongpob and there weren't any kiss scenes until Ep 9. However, it was nice to see Kongpob teasing Arthit in each episode and the special scenes at the end of each episode were pretty cool as well. Tbh, the kiss scenes were actually worth the wait.

I have a love-hate relationship with the drama in this seres. I would have liked it if this series had more drama but at the same time, I was glad that Kongpob and Arthit resolved the problems quickly. The drama parts of SOTUS S didn't last more than 1 episode/only lasted 1 episode.

If you loved SOTUS or Arthit x Kongpob's relationship or little drama, you will definitely love this series. Tbh, for someone like me who didn't really like SOTUS, I really loved this one and the ending of SOTUS S & I found myself smiling a lot at Kong x Arthit throughout the series. I hope there will be a season 3 because I wanna see my Tew x Day and Nai x Yong ships.

9. Make It Right 2

About this series:
A sequel to Make It Right.

Fuse is a gentle and sensitive boy who is heartbroken because of his girlfriend who cheated. He tries to get over her by drinking with his friends. Any straight couples?:
- Yes! 1. (Fuse x his girlfriend)

Personal Review:
As I've mentioned in Make It Right, I only watched this series for Book and Frame pairing. The other pairings were pretty 'meh'. In this series, Fuse and his girlfriend are still together. They have yet to break up even after he confirmed that she cheated (wtf bro).

They should have ended Fuse's relationship in the earlier episodes and made this series about Fuse and Tee, how they got together as a couple. But nope. The break up only happened near the end. This series also showcases a new couple pairing Lukmo x Yok. I liked how their story started and ended.

There were also a few sex scenes involving Book and Frame. It was nice to see how the relationship between Book and Frame progressed, from season 1 to 2 and in episodes of season 2. I honestly thought the couple would break up, especially after what happened to Book. But Frame stayed by his side and cared for him. Someone, please tell me where I can find a boyfriend like that!!!!

Halfway through the story, I got a feeling that Wit had some romantic feelings towards Yok's mother and I got uncomfortable with that since Wit is only a high schooler in the story and Yok's mum is probably twice or almost thrice of Wit's age so uh...

If you enjoyed Make It Right 1 or liked Book x Frame pairing, you'll enjoy this series. But if you are watching for Fuse x Tee, thinking that you'll see couple moments between the 2, I'm sorry but that couple only happened near the end.

10. 2 Moons
2 Moons The Series

Any straight couples?:

Personal Review:
Before I start talking about the series, let me talk about the actors. Especially the 2 main leads. Is it just me or do I find the pair weird? Like they don't match well with each other? The stylist for Wayo made him look way too young for a university student. He looks like a high schooler in this series. I felt that there was zero chemistry between Pha and Wayo. I cringed while watching their scenes. They're probably awkward with each other as well. (Keyword: PROBABLY)

The only thing that made me continue watching this series was Ming x Kit pairing. To me, they were the only good actors in this series, the only 2 whom I felt there was chemistry between each other. It didn't feel as though they were forced to film or be a part of this series. They were also the ones who saved this series for me.

Like what I mentioned above, I only continued watching for Ming x Kit couple. It was nice and funny to see how their story progressed and watch Ming flirt with Kit while Kit just rolls his eyes or scolds Ming for something he said.

Sadly, they never got together in this series and after I finished the last episode, I read online that there would be a Season 2! Initially, after seeing that news, I was super excited since that would mean I'll get to see my Ming x Kit & hopefully Beam x Forth. BUT the sad thing is, I'll probably never see those 2 pairs happening because the director/whoever is in charge of this film, did not contact the original casts for Season 2. Instead, they are holding auditions for the roles, for Season 2.

A pretty dumb move if you ask me. The director & whoever is in charge ruined the series for people who are watching for the other 2 couples. Anyways, this series is overall pretty okay. It's not as good as the other BL series I've watched like 'Love By Chance, 'Together With Me' & 'SOTUS'. But it isn't bad like 'Kiss Me Again' or 'What The Duck' series which I'll be talking about below.

I'm not going to say that you shouldn't watch it because there are some parts of this series which I found was good (Ming x Kit + good-looking actors) So, if you wanna watch, I suggest you to just watch for MingKit because Pha and Wayo was awkward and cringy af.

Personal Review:
A HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME.

I literally yelled 'What the Fuck' after I finished all 20 episodes. The only reason why I even finished 20 episodes was that of Pree x Rambo. The chemistry between both of them was just *_* I saw videos of them practicing the kiss/sex scenes during workshops, on Instagram and I guess that's the reason why they are not awkward with each other. I also found myself skipping the parts of the 2 main couple most of the time.

The 2 main actors' story dragged on for way too long, it is poorly written & I couldn't feel the chemistry between them. Also, I dislike Mo's character. Heads up, she was also the one who played Plern Pleng in 'Together With Me', I disliked her ever since 'Together With Me' so having to watch her in this series was just urgh.

Anyways, I disliked her character because she likes to play the 'Victim' card. Even though she knows something is going on between Pop and Oat, she refuses to do anything about it. Also, when she was being bullied by her fellow airline crew, she doesn't fight back and literally let the bullying continue. Grow a backbone girl -.- Her character is totally different from what you see in 'Together With Me'.

Even though I said I finished this series for Pree x Rambo, their storyline was dramatic and extra af. The only happy & sweet scene you will see of them is when they had morning sex, where Pree proposed to Rambo. After that, DRAMA, all the way until the final episode. They are also the reason why I'm going to watch Season 2 of this series. I wanna see whether Pree and Rambo will end up together or not.

I do not recommend anyone to watch this series. If you wanna watch for Pree x Rambo, I'm sure you can find their cuts/scenes on Youtube. No need to waste your time watching all 20 episodes.

12. Kiss Me Again
Kiss Me Again

Events in this series take place before Kiss: The series. This series focuses on Sanwan, Sansuay and Sanson's relationship. It also showcases how Kao and Pete's relationship came about while showing how June, Sandee, Thada, Pete, and Kao became friends.

Where to watch?
Rating & Episodes:
- 15 + | 14 episodes (55 minutes each)
Casts:
- Thanapatpisal Sanathachat (Sanwan)
- Pattarakampol Chutavuth (R)
- Songmuang Kanayawee (Sanson)
- Mond Tanutchai Vijitvongthong (Matt)
- New Thitipoom Teechaapaikhun (Kao)
- Tay Tawan Vihokratana (Pete)
- Lummakanon Jintanutda (Sansuay)
- Earth Pirapat Watthanasetsiri (So)
Any straight couples?:
- Yes. 3. (Sanwan x R, Sanson x Matt & Sansuay x So)

Personal Review:
I don't know whether I watched a BL series or a straight couple series. This was supposed to be a BL series but it had 3 straight couples in it + the screen time of Pete x Kao was just????? Most of the screen time for Pete and Kao only happened near the end and it was very very little. In the beginning, Pete x Kao was mostly fighting with each other. If you wanna watch their scenes, just go on Instagram and you'll be able to find it.

The only straight couple I felt was good in this series was definitely Sanwan x R. I'm not surprised at what happened between them but the way their storyline developed and moved was worth praising. As for Sanson x Matt, what Sanson did was disgusting. She tried different ways and methods to find out whether Matt was gay or not just because she wanted a car. p.s. I was hoping for a Matt x Pat ship. Anyway, She should have just left him alone and let him come out when he was ready to. For Sansuay x So, their storyline was cringy af and I found myself skipping her parts most of the time.

The only reason why I even started watching this series is because - I didn't have anything else to watch + I saw Pete x Kao cuts on Instagram and was expecting to see more in the series but nope, what you get on Instagram is what you're gonna get in the entire series + a tiny bit more.

I don't know whether I'll recommend this series to anyone because half of me loved Sanwan x R & Pete x Kao but the other half of me hated the series because it focused too much on the straight couples instead of Pete x Kao even though it's a BL series. So, I'll leave the decision to Y'all. If you wanna watch it, go ahead. If you don't want to, it's fine as well. Just go onto Instagram for Pete x Kao cuts. Also, this series has a lot of fight scenes/violent scenes. Punches here and there, gang fights, getting stabbed etc and those kinds of scenes got pretty boring & predictable quickly.

Personal Review:
*Disclaimer: Whatever is written below is based on Ep 1 only.
Coming from someone who watched Together With Me and saw how in love Korn x Knock was in that series, I thought that their relationship would remain the same in this series. However, after watching Ep 1, I felt that Knock doesn't really like Korn or like he isn't fully invested in their relationship anymore.

Also, I read some spoilers online about this series so I'm going to put this series under my 'Watch Later' list since I can't deal with the fact that this series may have an unhappy ending + I'm sure the drama parts of this series is about to begin & I can't stand having to wait 1 week for another episode to see what happens.

So, this drama is on my 'Watch Later'. I'll continue watching it after the series has ended. p.s. from what I saw in the trailer + in Ep 1, it seems like Farm has turned into a player/playboy??? But I could be wrong. I'll just have to wait and see.

Personal Review:
Honestly very excited for this series! I wanna see what happens to Kongpob x Arthit and Kao x Pete. Nothing else has been released yet, no trailers etc so I don't have much to say about it.

I'm just glad that each couple will get 1 episode to themselves. This means that I'll get to see more of Kao x Pete since, in Kiss Me Again and Kiss The Series, they were more of a background couple thus, they didn't have much screen time. But now, an entire 40 minutes dedicated to them. #yassss

Personal Review:
Let's be honest. If you've watched all 20 episodes of season 1, you're probably not very excited for season 2 unless you're watching for Pree x Rambo or you actually didn't feel that Season 1 was a waste of time. The only reason why I'm going to spend/waste my time on this series is that of Pree x Rambo. I'm curious as to what will happen between these 2 and I'm hoping for a happy ending.

Personal Review:
As mentioned under my review for 2 Moons, the director/person in charge is holding auditions for all the characters in this season/series. This means that I will never get to see MingKit being in a relationship T_T I'm really hoping the director/person in charge changes their mind and calls the original casts for this season. If not, I'll just make do with the new casts.

- I am someone who places more emphasis on the storyline/plot than the actors.
- Recommendations are ranked in order. (Highly recommend -> Do not recommend at all)
- Recommendations are based on my personal opinion. You can have your own opinion but please do not force it down my throat. I respect your opinion, you respect mine.
- I am only ranking the ones which I've finished watching/already watched half of the series.
*For Together With Me, if you are uncomfortable with 2 males making out roughly or just started watching BL series + don't know what to expect, do not watch it. Instead, listen to the OSTs.

The first 3 series is what I highly recommend while the last 3, I do not recommend those to people who are watching for the BL parts. If you're someone who has already watched Together With Me, then you should be comfortable with all the series in this list of mine. But if you are just starting out / exploring BL series, then please watch the series ranked bottom to the top.

This is because the last 3 series contains straight couple + there isn't much screen time for the gay couple so I think that will help ease you into the BL world XD Like what I said in my personal review for the last 3 series, Water Boyy and Kiss Me Again focused too much on the straight couples which led to the gay couple not having much screen time. Whereas for What The Duck, I only continued watching for Pree x Rambo cuts.

As you can see, SOTUS and SOTUS S are at the same rank so let me explain myself. I love both series, the plot and how it progressed so I felt that both deserved to be ranked at 2nd place. Like what I said in my review, can we please get a season 3 for this series? T_T

- #fingerscrossed -

This pretty much sums up the post and how I spent my time during the 2 months holidays. It has been a joy to watch most of the series and I can't wait for more BL series to come out so I can watch it during my next break.

With that, I shall end my review post. Again, everything in this post is strictly based on my personal opinion. Your opinions and thoughts may differ from mine and I respect that so please respect mine as well. 😎
