Althea SG Loots #1 + mini review

Hello everyone.

As you can see from the title,
I'll be talking about my loots from Althea SG.

*Take note that this post isn't sponsored by Althea SG or anyone.
*All the items bought were paid with my own money.
*I'm just sharing my experience with anyone who reads this post.

Before I start,

"What is Althea SG?"

Well, they're like your typical online store that sells:
Korean Skincare
Korean Makeup
Makeup tools etc.

But at a much cheaper rate compared to retail stores in SG.
They're also cheaper than other online stores that sells the same products.

I've seen other online stores selling the same product as Althea SG but at a more expensive rate.
Furthermore, Althea SG provides free shipping with a minimum of $29 spent.
They also have the 30 days unconditional refund and return.
Which means, if you don't like the item you just bought, you can return it and get a refund

A few weeks back, they had a buy 3 get 1 free promotion.
At first, I was debating on whether to get it since:
- I overspent this month
- I have too many un-used skincare and makeup products (esp lippies fml)
- I have no idea what to get either (since I'm spoilt for choice)

But then, a few weeks later,
a notification popped up on my phone telling me that the 3+1 promo was ending soon.
Plus I needed comforting at that point of time so I thought:
"meh. why not give it a try?"

I went onto the website and browsed through the huge amount of items they have
and got myself 4 items that I felt were interesting.
I placed my orders on 3rd May and just received it today, 11th May.

Now before anyone complains that the shipping took too long,
when I ordered, it was during a festive period (as stated on the site)
so orders took longer to process than usual.

And 8 days isn't that long... if I were to pre-order the items from a blog shop in SG, it would take at least 2 weeks to arrive.

Moreover, some of the items I've bought, I haven't seen them in the SG retail stores yet...

Anyways, l should probably start showing you guys what I bought from Althea SG.

Basically, I bought skincare products since I don't use makeup that often.
Plus I have too many lip products to finish ;-;

So I bought:
- Rire All Kill Blackhead Remover Stick
- Forencos Vitamin C Tablets
- Innisfree Blueberry Cleanser
- Innisfree Blueberry Cream
-Innisfree Blueberry Skin. (Toner)

I was so excited omg

My loots c:

So the package arrived today.
I was super excited to receive the package since I wanted to try
the highly raved Rire All Kill Black Head Remover Stick.

Saw some SG blogshops selling the same exact product for more than what I bought
plus theirs didn't even include postage fees ;-;
The original price on Althea SG was $22 but there was a 50% discount
and there was the 3+1 promo going on!!!

Item #1: Rire All Kill Black Head Remover Stick (SGD11)

What this item does is, it removes your black heads over time

How to use?:
Cleanse your face and then rub the product on your wet nose
Afterwards, rinse it off with water.
*Avoid the eye area!!!*

I tried it on my sister earlier on and there was a tiny bit of difference.
The website stated that there would be immediate effects but I personally feel that you'll need to use it several times for a period before you actually start seeing any effects.

Item #2: Forencos Vitamin C Tablets (SGD23)

I couldn't find any reviews about what this item was or
whether they're good or not when I was doing research... :(

I bought them not because Song Joongki was their ambassador,
But because I have been using the D.I.Y pH mist for a month now and it seems pretty okay.

Initially, I thought these were the tablets for the pH mist but I guess I'm wrong.
Apparently, it's for cleansing???

I'm still going to add half of the tablet in my pH mist bottle and see what happens.
Maybe it'll work just like the original tablets.

never try, never know right?

Item #3: Innisfree Blueberry Cleanser (SGD10//FOC)

Item #4: Innisfree Blueberry Cream (SGD15.50)

Item #5: Innisfree Blueberry Skin/Toner (SGD12.50)

Haven't tried any of the blueberry series yet.
So I'm pretty excited to try it out.
Other bloggers were complaining about the smell and how it's too oily etc.

But it might turn out differently for me
Personally the smell is still okay to me.
It's not as bad as how the other bloggers put it...

Let's just wait and see.

I'll try and find a time to do up a review on the products I've ordered.
But it's not going to be up so soon since I'm rather busy plus I won't be using any of the products so soon either since I have to finish the ones I have already opened ;-;

Overall, I spent SGD 62 (Usual SGD 72) on all 5 items.
If I had gotten it in Singapore, it would have cost more than SGD 72.
(Probably almost SGD 100)

I would most definitely go shop on Althea SG again if I ever need anything
although I still have to wait a few days for it to arrive.
But with such prices, I really can't complain.
Moreover, their staffs on instagram are damn helpful and nice as well!

So far, I haven't found anything to complain about..
If I have to complain about something, it would be the lack of free samples :<
I was pretty excited to get some free samples for my purchases
but there weren't any... so I'm guessing they don't provide free samples for promotion items???

Plus the items I bought were during their 3+1 promo
so I guess the free item = free sample? 😂

I highly recommend everyone out there who is into korean beauty products to shop on Althea SG.
