Short Update/Rant?
Hey guys.
It's been a month since I blogged about anything actually.
So just a little update about my current affairs and life.
as if I have one with all the assignments coming in =_=
I just submitted my first assignment for this module earlier on today. This assignment has been a rather scary roller coaster ride. Firstly, we were told to gather books for the assignment prior to the launch however, we weren't told what kind of books we should search for so I didn't go and find the books.
And then afterwards, after the assignment was launched, the module lecturer told us that we must have a book source for our assignment. So I started panicking because... I didn't borrow any & even if I wanted to, there were no more books in the library for me to borrow since the other classes already borrowed them...
I decided to go online to search for journal articles instead and came across a few. I printed the ones that I thought would be useful to me so I could show them to the module lecturer. I even highlighted the points I wanted to use for the assignment and numbered them. But, when I actually got to show them, the lecturer told me that they couldn't help me and asked me to write a short description about each point I highlighted.
Of course, I wasn't too happy since the lecturer only told us to highlight and number the points previously. They did not tell us to write a short description whatsoever before showing it to them. From that day onwards, I didn't bother to consult the module lecturer regarding my work anymore.
3 days before the submission, the lecturer informed us that another class has already submitted their work before the submission date and in my mind, I was like "well, it's because they have a lecturer who would ACTUALLY consult the students and give them suggestions on their work unlike the one we have."
Before the lecture ended, the module lecturer confirmed with us that the most important thing we needed for our assignments were theories etc. However, initially, she told us to focus more on the designs etc.
And that's when I started actually panicking. 3 days before the submission and you're only telling us this now???????? wth??? I thank god for the public holiday because I could stay up late to restart everything. T_T
So yeah, one hell of a roller coaster ride ended today when I submitted it.
Next & Final, attendance.
For the past one year, I only know 1 lecturer who is biased towards students. However, now that I'm in year two, I realized that another lecturer is rather biased as well. This lecturer prefers the shameless type of students who are talkative and make a nuisance of themselves or has friends like that.
Why I say this is because, when my bunny pal and I reached the class on the dot, the lecturer told the students inside to close the door. We got in half an hour afterwards after attendance was being marked. The lecturer explained to us that we were a minute late. We apologized and went back to our groups for assignment discussion.
So my bunny pal and I just sat down there discussing and then we started talking about how biased the lecturer was since previously, when another student who was friends with talkative people arrived a minute late, they were let in since the class said that she arrived on the dot.
I sat there thinking about whether this lecturer is even being professional. Like hello? Why are you even listening to and asking students for the time when you have your phone beside you?? And when you know they will definitely say that their friends are on the dot???
That's pretty much I have for now.
