Hola Amigos!

It's me again ㅋㅋ

The main reason for writing this post it to update yall about my blood test

Previously I mentioned about my medical checkup results and how the doctor told me I have anemia and then recommended me to go for a different blood test to see what was the cause of insufficient red blood cells.

I went to SATA earlier to collect the results and had to pay another $20 just for the doctor to read my report and tell me what's causing my anemia.

For your info, I paid $20 during the previous visit because the doctor wanted to consult me about my results.

I HAD TO PAY THE DOCTOR BECAUSE THE DOCTOR WANTED TO TALK TO ME.

And now, I have to pay another $20 so the doctor would read the results and tell me what's causing my anemia. In total, I spend over $100 for a blood test and 2 consultations...

I am perfectly fine with going for the blood test but I still have to pay for you to read my results? Shouldn't it be in the package already? Shouldn't you, as the doctor or nurse tell me what's causing this instead of only telling me AFTER I paid the consultation fees again?

P.S. DID ANYONE SEE $100 FLYING IN THE SKY JUST NOW? PLS GIVE IT BACK.

The nurse handed me my report and I looked through it briefly before asking her "Uh... so what's wrong? What is causing my anemia?" She just took back my report, sat down at her desk and told me to hold on while she looked at her computer.

After that, she told me I had to pay $20 or go to my family clinic to follow up. I got so worried because of the 2 words "follow up". All I had in mind was "follow up on what?". But the nurse refused to tell me anything and said that if I wanted, she will get me a queue number and then I can make payment to see the doctor.

I IMMEDIATELY ROLLED MY EYES AND "LAUGHED". AFTER THAT I ASKED HER "I STILL HAVE TO PAY...?"

She just nodded her head and told me that I can consult the doctor her or go to my own family clinic.

Since I was already there, just get it done at there as well. So I got a queue number and waited to make payment and consult the doctor. The lady at the registration counter kinda pitied me also because of the $100. She knew because I've been making payment at the same counter for the past few days.

The doctor told me that the iron levels in my blood cells were very low and just told me to eat more red meat, spinach and any foods high in iron. I asked her if it was anything serious and she told me that it's nothing serious and I just needed to eat more foods that are high in iron.

I PAID $20 TO BE TOLD THIS WHEN I COULD READ IT FOR MYSELF FROM THE REPORT.

The nurse made it sound so serious with "you can pay $20 or go to your family doctor for follow up" and it got me so worried because I thought there was a blood clot and I had to go through several other tests to determine what was causing all these.

BUT

It turns out that I just lack iron and needed to eat more foods with high iron content.

The doctor said that it was harder for my body to pump blood throughout my body and it would be hard so I asked: "I can still do physical activities like run 2.4km for NAPFA right?" She told me "You can. It's just up to you whether you want to run or not." with a face like she was rolling her eyes internally.

OKAY LOOK. YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SAID MY BODY IS GOING TO HAVE A HARD TIME PUMPING BLOOD.
WHAT IF I RUN 2.4 AND MY HEART CAN'T PUMP BLOOD/OXYGEN FAST ENOUGH THROUGH MY BODY?
I MIGHT DIE.

Okay, I might be overthinking too much. All I'm going to do now is to eat foods high in iron like red meat (though I dislike beef and mutton...), cereals, sunflower seeds and spinach.

Anyways, since this post is getting rather lengthy. I shall end it here. Initially wanted to share my thoughts and feelings on how poly term is starting but like "nope. this is getting way too long for my liking"

SO, DO COME BACK WEEKLY TO SEE WHETHER I UPDATED!

Till the next post~!
