Prelim 1 results & exo
Annyeong ~! First ' actual ' post for satan's new blog ㅋㅋ well , today's post will be about *whispers* look at the title
Blogging tonight because teacher showed us our prelim 1 results in school today and guess what !!! I failed 3 subjects again :-( Hmm this time round , I failed : Combined Science , Combined Humanities & Maths ( obviously ) but for prelim 1 , I improved my english , chinese and FnN ( which I failed previously ) , I can forget about going to korea if I get this kind of results for prelim 2 ( which is likely to happen )
What I don't get is history tbh . I mean like if I failed terribly for my history source based questions ((SBQ)) shouldn't I fail terribly for my social studies SBQ too ? But no !!!! I passed social studies SBQ 20/35 marks .. so I don't see why I cannot pass my history :-/ if its essay , I would totally understand because its either I didn't bother to read the topic or I really don't understand the topic ... but its freaking SBQ and the sources are all there waiting to be understood and if I could do it for social studies , I don't see why I can't do it for history =_= ohwell
These kind of results won't get me anywhere tbh ;; (( why must we be ranked according to our grades )) sorry to say but grades aren't going to be of any help to us in the near future . Take maths for example , why learn all the algebra , triangles , circles when in the future we will only be using the most basic maths like + - x & divide . And what if your grades are good ? doesn't prove anything if your attitude is bad :-) no point having so many certs but attitude like shit ^_^ #justsaying no one should be fucking ranked according to their grades whether good or bad , everyone deserves a chance at everything ... atleast once ~
Next up , 1 speaker from Nanyang poly & ITE came to school to speak to us about PFP and DPP . Judging from my prelim 1 results , I think its better if I go for a course in ITE . Poly is so hard to get in tbh .. the cut of points EMB3 <11 ( RAW ) fml please :-) Going to work extra hard for prelim 2 and even harder for n'levels so that even if I don't go to poly , I wouldn't be damn upset about it because I know that with my n'level results , I can either enter ITE ( hopefully OTL ) or go to secondary 5 ( not what I'm hoping for ) sighs let's just work hard for the upcoming exams !!! hwaiting ~!
