Stressful & Depressing Week
Just a quick post before I continue my revision for tomorrow's exams T_T
I need to get this post off my to-do list otherwise when I'm doing my maths and physics paper tomorrow , I'll not be able to concentrate because my mind is thinking of when I'll be able to finish this post.
The week before last week was truly a depressing week /sighs/ Everyone received their O Level Mother Tongue results last last thursday and I was really excited to receive mine as well because I thought I was gonna do well . But guess what ?
NOPE
Nah I didn't flunk the paper. I just didn't do as well as I expected :/ Called my mum and told her about it. All she said was "its okay. there's still round 2 in November and if everything doesn't work out , you don't necessary have to go to poly. I don't care where you go after your O's as long as you've worked hard"
AND THAT'S WHEN I STARTED CRYING
In the end , I decided to retake my mother tongue exams in November . I'm gonna pray for the best .
You may have thought that this was the only depressing thing in the week. But there's another one and its regarding my DPA results ;-;
Soooo even though I got an interview with RP , they decided to not accept me into the course. I also have no idea why but come to think of it , it might be because :
- I was early for the interview
- The answers I gave were not professional
- I kept smiling
- The interviewers didn't like my looks (????)
- Maybe the poly just sucks ? and I'm too good for them? ( highlight this text to see what the 5th point was )
I told one of my friend about it and she said "at least you've got yourself an interview. I didn't even get a call from the poly I applied to"
Till today, I'm still thinking about what went wrong during the interview that made me lose my chance of getting into RP but then again , I shouldn't be thinking about it because RP isn't the only poly available in Singapore.
There are polys out there which are better than RP so I should just concentrate on my O'Levels ( which is in a few weeks time ) , get a good point and then study in ANOTHER polytechnic c:
Okay I really got to go back to studying now ;-; I don't want my physics teacher screaming at me when I fail the paper >.>
