Why I changed back to iPhone + iPhone 7 Plus

It's me again.
Now, before I start, 
I just want to say that everything in this post is based on my personal opinion.

Today, I'll be talking about my new iPhone.
The iPhone 7 Plus.
And why I switched back to using apple.

Before I talk about my 7 plus, I think it's better to explain why I changed back to apple.

As yall know, I'm an avid Samsung/Android user.
I love Samsung/Android.
That was until the latest update >.>



Samsung/Android blocked 3rd party fonts (?) from being used on the device.
Like... really Samsung? really?
You removed the function that made me stayed with your brand.
- The ability to change the fonts on my device. 

Now, I know some people out there will be like:
"oh but you can just purchase the fonts in play store"
or
"you can use those 3rd party fonts after you root the device"
or
"well, why did you update it in the first place?"

1. I ain't paying for fonts
2. If I have to root my device to use 3rd party fonts, I might as well just switch back to iPhone and jailbreak it.
3. BECAUSE I WANTED THE NEW FREAKING EMOJIS

Besides, iPhone is way prettier and more pleasing to MY eyes.
Com'on let's be real for a minute here.

iPhone's cameras are at the top corner of the phone while Samsung's are right in the middle of the phone =_=

This may not matter to a lot of you but to me,

someone who buys tons of cases for my phone,

IT MATTERS A WHOLE LOT. 

I know.
I need to stop my phone case addiction ;-;

This isn't my first time using iPhone or any apple device.
This also isn't my first time using Samsung or android device
Come to think of it, I've actually used most iPhones and Samsung Note series phones before.
- iPhone 3gs, iPhone 4, iPhone 5, iPhone 6plus and now, iPhone 7plus.
- Note 2, Note 3 and Note 5



I changed frequently from apple to Samsung and I kinda forgot why tbh...
Except for that time when I changed from iPhone 6 Plus to Note 5.
And Note 5 to iPhone 7 Plus

I changed my iPhone 6 plus to Note 5 because I can change the fonts and customise the phone, however, I want. And also because of the 32gb.
Everything changed after the new update.



p.s My iPhone 6 plus was only 16gb.
/thinks back about the sad days when apple had 16gb phones/

After the update, as mentioned above, Samsung blocked out 3rd party fonts.
And this pretty much made me want to go back to apple.
Yes. I'm able to still customise my phone (install themes, change icons etc.) but the most important thing (changing font), the thing that made me go back to using Samsung/Android, has been blocked.


Samsung... really?

Furthermore, when I was shopping for Note 5 cases online, I stumbled upon tons of cute cases for iPhones.
There are cute cases because the camera for iPhones isn't right in the middle of the phone, unlike Samsung.



So yeah...
That's why I changed back to apple.
PLUS, iPhone released rose gold coloured iPhone for 7 Plus as well.
So like............
PINK
And I love pink so......
BACK TO APPLE. 

Initially, I thought that Samsung would release a pink coloured phone for Note 5 so I waited.
IN VAIN. 


See that Samsung? Taemin isn't amused.

So, I'm back to apple now.
And I have a feeling I'll be staying with apple for a while from now onwards.

Now, time to talk about my iPhone 7 Plus.
Mine is rose gold colored and it's 128gb.





I waited for about 1 week since the release and I gotta admit.
That 1 week, was PURE TORTURE.
Every time there were stocks for the 7 Plus, my parents and I weren't free to go and queue for it.
And when they're free, there are no stocks.



I kinda got impatient and told my parents that I wanted the iPhone 7 instead.
They managed to talk me out of it and told me to wait for the 7 Plus to be restocked at the local telcos.

The next day, Saturday, I woke up early and checked on the stock update on M1's page.
And there were stocks for the 7 Plus at various M1 shops in Singapore.
I got out of bed and went into the living room to see both my parents on M1's stock update page as well.



When we got to the M1 shop, I was horrified to see the line of people queueing outside M1 for the iPhone 7 Plus. And it was only 9:50am. (M1 only opens at 11am)
I thought I won't be able to get the phone because I was quite behind in the line.
But as time passed, several people in front and behind me walked out of the line.
So I felt more relieved after that.



Around 10:30am, a female staff from M1 came out to issue "tickets" to people in line.
At this point of time, more people walked out of the line and I have no idea why.
(( Probably because M1 doesn't have the iPhone in colours and sizes that they want... ))
But anyways, MORE RELIEVED afterwards.



After another 30 minutes wait, M1 finally opened for business.
Slowly, one by one, the staff positioned at the entrance gave out queue numbers to the people waiting in line.
I got my queue number and waited another 30 minutes before I finally got my hands on the 7 Plus

For any confused people out there (trust me, there are tons of confused people out there), 

the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus comes with the items shown in the photo above. 

This was pretty much how I got my 7 Plus...
Sorry (not sorry) if it doesn't sound exciting at all ;-;

I haven't gotten a chance to actually test out the new functions of ios 10 and the cameras of the 7 Plus.
Once I actually try it out, I'll write another post about it...
(If I'm not lazy... that is)

This marks the end of my post ^_^
I'm gonna go enjoy the last 6 days of my holidays, waiting for SM to release SHINee's comeback teasers and preparing myself mentally for the upcoming wave of torture.



/cry because when IS sm going to release those teasers???????/
