I would highly recommend everyone to visit this place once in your life if you cannot afford to fly to the Maldives. Port Dickson Lexis Hibiscus is like the cheap version of the Maldives. However, some tips before you drive there yourself.
❗ Purchase some snacks from the supermarket/s nearby (Giant etc.) before heading to the resort.
❗ Bring sunblock!
❗ Try not to book the room with breakfast if possible. Honestly, the breakfast served is really meh and there are so many people.
❗ Bring mosquito repellant (if you're traveling with children/a pregnant woman)
❗ Prepare yourself to just nua in the room all day.
❗ If you have your own e-scooter/hoverboard, do bring it.
Unless you don't mind renting the e-scooters/hoverboards at the resort or pay to play with the huge water slide, there is really nothing much to do at the resort except eat and play in your own private pool.
If you don't wish to rent the e-scooters/hoverboards, then bring your own. As for the huge ass water slide on the beach of the resort, I wouldn't recommend anyone to pay and play in it honestly. There's just way too many people in that area to properly enjoy yourself.
Regarding food:
✔ Resort hawker centre sells rather decent food at singapore prices.
- (SGD3 for a plate of fried kway teow)
✔ ICE CREAM - BUY FROM THE HAWKER CENTRE INSTEAD OF THOSE CART ONE BECAUSE IT'S CHEAPER.
✔ Remember to try the satay!! It seems pretty good but I never got to try it b/c the chicken ones are always OOS.
✔ If you're THAT lazy to go out, there's always room service. If you're calling for room service, ORDER THE FRIED CHICKEN.
- but please get them to separate the chicken from the potato wedges otherwise everything is going to turn out soggy...
All in all, Lexis hibiscus is a great place to visit for a holiday and I wouldn't mind going back there again to relax and forget about my busy intern life :') Ya'know, just nua in the room 24/7, call for room service, enjoy the steam room, splash around in the plunge pool and then suntan.
And this marks the end of the Port Dickson Lexis Hibiscus travel post!
I'm sorry I took so long to get this out 😪
I was supposed to finish this & publish it before 2018.
But... news of Jonghyun passing away + 2nd assessment...
So I couldn't get it done by the time I wanted to.
There will be a post for Jonghyun.
How thankful & grateful I am to have met him.
That's all I have for now.
Until the next post~!
