#83 | My favourite month
I was supposed to update after practicum submissions but guess who procrastinated?

ANYWAYS
Since 2019's submissions are done and dusted,
I figured, why not update the blog?
Plus, I actually miss this little space..
My favourite month of the year, December, is here. This also means that 2019 is coming to an end. I honestly don't know how or what to feel. It felt like last month was January and now, we're in December. 2019 has been a wild adventure.
While scrolling through my past entries, I realised I never really dedicated a post for the year?? like something I do on my personal instagram whereby I look back at the year and talk about what happened, the good and the bad etc.
Overall, 2019 was a good year to me and most of the people around me. There were bad days/times but the good definitely outweighs it. Looking back, I drifted away from toxic people and the people whom I was very close with in school, I set lower expectations on myself and stopped giving myself so much stress. I stepped out of my comfort zone and gained new friends.
IN SUMMARY: I TREATED MYSELF BETTER IN 2019.
I guess this whole "treating myself better" started because, I thought that since I'm turning 21 years old this year, I might as well let loose a little and treat myself better. This was like a birthday present from me to myself.
I would list down all the things I did to "treat myself" but that's a post for another day. I'll blog about it when I return from my trip.

COUNTING DOWN: T-8 TO TOKYO
Less than 8 hours to stepping foot in a entirely new country and city.. I'm eggcited yet nervous at the same time since I haven't been to Tokyo before and I have no idea what to expect in that city. I don't even speak Japanese so please pray for me. This is also my first time taking a flight without any stop over.. So I'm literally going to be in the air, in the dark for over 6 hours before I step foot on land again. Hah. Totally not scared... yeap.
Flying to Tokyo this holiday means having the opportunity to experience a whole new culture and see another part of the world. I hope everything will go smoothly and I'll enjoy my stay/time there.
